Rent or buy?

Work out when buying the machine would win.

Put in how often you need it and what it costs to rent and to own. We show the yearly cost both ways and the number of days a year where buying starts to pay off.

A brief. A search. A choice.

How it works

A person on Lucky Ranasinghe’s team at MADITECH reads your brief, finds the right match and replies by email with a quote.

01

Describe the job
and the machine.

Include your dates, location and anything the machine needs to fit around.

02

We check nearby
yards and owners.

We ask about the right machine, availability for your dates and delivery.

03

You get options.
You decide.

We email options and a quote. Nothing is reserved or charged until you accept.

This is a new concierge sourcing service. Nothing is charged by this site, and sending a request commits you to nothing.

Pricing

What it costs.

You pay the supplier’s own rental price, shown in your quote, plus our sourcing fee.

Find

5% of the rental quote

One good match with the supplier’s quote. You book and pay the supplier directly.

Compare

10% of the rental quote

Up to three options side by side on price, delivery and terms, and a confirmed delivery window.

Rush & coordinate

15% of the rental quote

We try for same or next day and handle delivery and pickup times with the supplier and you.

Example: a week’s rental quoted at $380 means a fee of $19, $38 or $57. Insurance and deposit terms are the supplier’s and are in the quote. Nothing is reserved or charged until you accept.

Before you send

A few practical questions

Do you own the machines?

No. We source machines from rental yards and owners for each request. We do not have supply listed yet.

What does it cost?

The supplier’s rental price depends on the machine, dates and delivery, plus our 5%, 10% or 15% sourcing fee (see pricing). Both are in your quote. Nothing is reserved or charged until you accept.

Who handles insurance and deposits?

The supplier sets out insurance and deposit terms in the quote. Ask us anything before you decide.

Do you rent robots?

Not yet. Robots are on the roadmap; tell us what job you would want one for.

Can I list my equipment?

Yes. Use the machine owner form to tell us what you own, where it is kept and whether you can deliver. We can check with you when a relevant request arrives.
